Dance Entertainment
For 110 years the annual Penn Relay Carnival has not only been America’s
largest track meet, but the world’s first and most recognized relay meet. The
presence and prestige of the Relays is extremely significant, as the Relays are
a rite of spring in the Philadelphia community and in the greater track &
field world at large. the Relays are also the place
where track fans gather to see tomorrow’s Olympic stars. Every April, the Penn Relays draw many of the nation’s - and the world’s -
top track athletes to Franklin Field. Relays participants have won gold medals
in every modern (summer) Olympic Games except the 1980 Moscow games, which the
United States boycotted. In the most recent Olympics, the 2004 Athens Games, 23
Relays alumni won gold medals, either individually or as members of relay teams.
At the 2000 Sydney Games, 22 Relays alums took hom
e gold.
The Miss UAS Dance hall Queen 2k5 Competition
As usual Face Off Dancerz did it again. There were seven prestigious dance groups from NY and one
from out of Jamaica that were guess performers. But I
must say Face-Off is not called face-off for nothing
Face-Off Dancerz has often taken for granted. When it comes to performing you just don't
know what to expect. But definately we could see that artistic director Donnaray has the company focusing on "technical choreography, in addition to there impressive performance. They did a mixture of reggae and house music. However, we are looking for more great performance from the group. Keep up the good work guys...

The Irie Jamboree September 4th 2k5
The Irie Jamboree was on of the most exciting shows for this summer . Many big time artists performed. Artists like, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Sizzla, Juniour Gong, Sanchez. just to name a few. However, I must say that Face Off dancerz proformed a lovely tribute to Mr. Bogle( King Of DanceHall). However, The dancerz of Face_Off and Crazy were disappointed, because they did not finished there performance. Just when the performance was getting hot one of the DJ pulled the plug (so we heard). The Director of Face Off, Donnaray said the Jamaican Media and People don't respect and honor the icons of the culture. Oh Such a Des to the young people and the Dancerz. "We are the only ones that respect and honor our icon's, We should always remember that they were the one's that took our culture to another level. It's all about the money and hype she stated. No one taking time out to honor and respect. What's is going on with our people we need to pay attention to what's going on. Can't they see that the value of our culture is depreciating. However despite all, the crowd and fans loved there performance and supported them through it all. One love to the Face Off Dancerz. Rockaz, Caution, Dizzy Milkshake, and the Crazy Hype crew. Keep up the good work. Dont let them put out your fira....

Jamaican Women
The penn realys was a succes for the Jamaican team. However, they lost some races which shouldn't have lost. Some may blame it on the rain but jamaica need to stop blaming the weather. The face -Off dancerz wassuppose to dance at the award cermony but unfortunately it rained out, it was such a disopointment for there fans and them. They did however, get to mash up the after party. I mean mash it up. The face off dancers had on there jamaican desiged jerseys and there unique fashion outfits ready to tear down the place and anyone who stands in the way.
